Addis Ababa, June 21, 2020 (FBC) – Ethiopia has reported 63 new coronavirus confirmed cases and two deaths out of 4, 457 samples tested with in the last one day. And, the total number of confirmed cases in the country has reached 4,532, according to Ministry of Health.
Out of the total confirmed cases, Addis Ababa witnessed 31 positives for the virus while Somali region confirmed the next higher number, 9. And, 5 are from Oromia, 4 from Dire Dawa, 4 from Afar, 6 from Amhara and Gambella with equal share, 2 from SNNP and the other 2 from Tigray and Harari regional states.
The total number of deaths in the country has reched 74 including the two reported over the last twenty four hours.
Meanwhile, 91 more people have recovered from the disease bringing the total recovery tally to 1,213.
There are now a total of 3,243 active cases in Ethiopia, with 32 of them in a severe condition. The total number of tests conducted so far stands at 216, 328.
