Addis Ababa, November 4, 2024 (FBC) – Addis Ababa and Kuala Lumpur cities will continue to strengthen their partnership, said Addis Ababa Mayor Adanech Abiebie after her meeting with the officials of the Malaysian capital over the weekend.
Following her courtesy visit to Kuala Lumpur, Mayor Adanech disclosed that met and held a discussion with the Deputy Mayor of Kuala Lumpur, Ismadi bin Sakiri, and his team.
Both sides discussed ways to work more closely in the areas of urban planning, urban development, environmental protection and care, public parks, investment, health, trade and tourism.
In that regard, she stated that the multi-faceted ties between the cities of Addis Ababa and Kuala Lumpur will continue to be strengthened.
Mayor Adanech and her delegation also visited the Smart Traffic Control Center and Kuala Lumpur’s Perdana Botanical Garden, and planted tree seedlings in the name of Addis Ababa city.
