Addis Ababa University starts assessing human and property losses in Amhara and Afar Regions

Addis Ababa, January 3, 2022 (FBC) – Addis Ababa University announced that it has set up a research team tasked to assess human and property losses inflicted by the terrorist TPLF Group in Amhara and Afar Regions.

The team has started researching the losses, President of the University, Professor Tasew Woldehana said.

The university has also announced a support to graduates that will engage in investigation of damages that the TPLF caused to the two regions.

Findings of the study would help hold the terrorist TPLF accountable in history for the crimes it committed in the two regions, and serve as a reference to further researches in the area.

Professor Tasew also said the finding would help coming generations to comprehend atrocious crimes of the terrorist group and pass on scientifically collected and analyzed document to this end.

Professor Tasew also indicated that Addis Ababa University is working to restore Woldia, Mekane Selam and Wollo Universities and other higher insitutions that the terrorist TPLF destroyed their facilities.
