Addis Ababa, November 15, 2022 (FBC) – The Addis Ababa city administration transferred 25, 791 20/80 and 40/60 condominium houses to winners on Tuesday afternoon.
It is to be remembered that the Capital has nullified the previous drawing due to the alleged theft and corruption.
Addis Ababa Mayor, Adanech Abiebie, alongside other government officials and invited guests attended the drawing ceremony.
The city administration has announced that 25,791 houses of 40/60 and 20/80 have been allotted to be transferred to winners.
18,930 houses in the 20/80 and 6,843 houses in the 40/60 were allotted to winners, according to the City administration.
In response to the demands of the three-bedroom house registrants, early and 2012 registrants were included in the drawing after completing the building of additional 300 houses.
According to the City, a total of 146,892 residents of the city who have accumulated sufficient savings registered until March 2, 2022 included in the lottery.
It was also stated that 93,352 registrants of the 20/80 housing and 53,540 registrants of the 40/60 housing development program were deemed eligible for the lottery.
