Addis Ababa, December 22, 2022 (FBC) – The construction of Debub Global Bank-backed Kirkos Park has officially commenced earlier today in Addis Ababa.
The Park is reportedly projected to be built at a cost of 17 million Birr. It is stated that it will be situated on a surface of 3,000 square meters in Kirkos sub-city, woreda 04, near Addis Ababa Abattoirs Enterprise.
The construction was officially launched by the chairperson of the bank’s board, Bikila Hurisa and other officials, Addis Ababa city government communication service indicated.
Upon the completion of Kirkos Park’s construction, apart from its recreational function, it is expected to consist of reading spaces, children’s playgrounds, coffee and fast food services, and public lavatories.
It is also stated that the park will create several employment opportunities to citizens.
