Addis Ababa, September 8, 2024 (FBC) – The Addis Ababa City Administration today handed over 837 houses built by various stakeholders in different sub-cities to beneficiaries on the occasion of Ethiopian New Year 2017.
Addis Ababa Mayor, Ms. Adanech Abiebie said that among the houses that were built in a short period of time and handed over to the residents, 54 of the houses were built by the Ministry of Labor and Skills (MoLS) in Yeka Sub-city.
She also mentioned that 108 houses have been built by various investors in Nifas Silk-Lafto sub-city and Arada sub-city. Meanwhile, the remaining 32 houses were built by the Abdulatif Omar Foundation (Amibara Group).
The mayor thanked the institutions, stakeholders and the generous investors of the city who contributed greatly to enable the residents to start the New Year with new hope.
