Addis Ababa, November 3, 2020 (FBC) – Addis Ababa City Peace and Security Administration Bureau has graduated 2,761 Code Enforcement Officers today.
The graduates have obtained theoretical and practical training for the last two months, it is indicated on the graduation ceremony.
According to Addis Ababa City Administration Press Secretariat, female officers account for 1,044 out of the 2,761 graduates.
The Deputy Mayor of Addis Ababa, Adanech Abiebe who presided over the graduation ceremony has forwarded work orientation and guidance to the graduates.
On the occasion, Deputy Mayor Adanech said the graduate officers will play an important role in line with addressing unlawful activities in the metropolis, among others, land grab, illicit building and illegal street vending.
