Addis Ababa, August 3, 2020 (FBC) –The Addis Ababa city council this morning began its 3rd regular session.
Presenting annual performance reports to members of the council, deputy mayor of the city, Engr Takele Uma, said his administration is currently building 125, 000 condominium houses to address housing problem in the capital.
Of the total, about 95,000 are being built under the 20/80 housing schemes, while the remaining 29,000 houses are being executed in the 40/60 housing program.
In his report, the deputy mayor provided a briefing on the activities carried out during the past two years to ensure development benefits of residents, including farmers.
The meeting will also deliberate on plans for the 2013 (2020/21) fiscal year and approve appointments of officials.
