Addis Ababa, July 21, 2020 (FBC) – Addis Ababa City Administration Road Authority has built and made operation over 171 Km roads over the concluded Ethiopian budget year.
The authority also disclosed that the city has been undertaking twelve road projects with an outlay of more than 9.8 Billion Birr aiming at expanding access and creating smooth traffic flow in the capital.
Authority has outstripped its plan set to construct 167.3 Km roads at various levels.
The roads under construction cover 84 km length and stretch from Pushkin Square to Gotera interchange and Autobus Terra to Mesalemiya interconnecting a number of districts in the capital.
The road construction projects aim to enhance social infrastructural developments and ensure socio economic benefits of the community at large, according to Addis Ababa Mayors office.
