Addis Ababa, December 10, 2024 (FMC) – Select Academy has launched an e-learning platform for high school education, an event attended by government officials, school leaders, and representatives from educational institutions.
Notable attendees included Yeshurun Alemayehu, State Minister for ICT and Digitalization, and Eba Mijena, CEO for Academic Affairs at the Ministry of Education.
The new platform aims to provide high school students with accessible education regardless of their location, offer online learning opportunities for refugees, and introduce advanced e-learning solutions to boost the global competitiveness of Ethiopian students.
The platform features digital instructional design and a learning management system, among other capabilities, it was stated in the launching event.
