Addis Ababa, November 8, 2024 (FBC) – The 28th Ethiopia-Djibouti Joint Border Administrators and Commissioners (JBAC) meeting which was being held in Bishoftu concluded today after a two-day deliberations on addressing shared challenges and reinforcing bilateral relations.
Head of the Ethiopian delegation and Director General of Immigration and Citizenship Services, Selamawit Dawit, highlighted that both sides committed to collaborative efforts on issues that enhance mutual benefits for the two nations.
Head of Djiboutian Delegation and Secretary General of the Ministry of Interior, Souleiman Moumin, also underscored that the meeting focused on strategic matters during the in-depth discussions. He stated that the two sides agreed to further strengthen cooperation in political, economic, transport and logistics sectors, among others.
