Addis Ababa, September 19, 2024 (FBC) – The 11th East Africa International Arbitration Conference (EAIAC 2024) has commenced in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, today, as confirmed by the Ministry of Justice (MoJ). The Ministry said the conference is scheduled to take place on September 19-20, 2024, at the Sheraton Addis Hotel, in the Ethiopian capital.
The event, jointly organized by the Ministry of Justice and International Arbitration Africa (I-Arb Africa), is being held under the theme “International Arbitration in Africa: Arbitrating in a New Age.”
EAIAC 2024 brought together arbitration practitioners, private lawyers, government officials, academics and corporate counsel from across the continent to discuss arbitration in a new world of technological advancements, greater regional integration and a push for green growth in the continent.
The conference will provide a platform for attendees to exchange ideas and insights on these critical topics, ultimately promoting collaboration and cooperation in the pursuit of a more integrated Africa.
