Amhara region, Finnish embassy discuss ways to strengthen cooperation

Addis Ababa, February 8, 2021 (FBC) –Chief Administrator of Amhara regional state, Agegnehu Teshager, has received head of cooperation at the Finnish embassy in Addis Ababa, Arto Valjas.

The two sides discussed ways to strengthen their cooperation in agriculture, drinking water, health care, land management, and education projects.

Arto Valjas said the development projects being implemented in the Amhara regional state are important to improve the livelihood and benefit of the residents.

Valjas added that Finland is keen to support developments that would be implemented under the regional state’s 10-year strategic plan, according to AMMA.

Agegnehu for his part said the Finnish government had carried out successful projects in Amhara regional state. The Finnish government works with the regional state in socio-economic fields.
