Amb Berhanu presents letter of credence to Djibouti President
Addis Ababa, August 13, 2020 (FBC) – Berhanu Tsegaye, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ethiopia to Djibouti and IGAD yesterday presented his letter of credence to President Ismail Omar Guelleh.
Ambassador Berhanu expressed his readiness to work closely with the Djiboutian side to further deepen the longstanding relations and strengthen the existing strategic partnership between the two countries.
He also expressed his willingness to work in close consultation and cooperation with the President and other officials of Djibouti.
President Ismail Omar Guelleh on his part welcomed the ambassador and assured that the Government of Djibouti would fully cooperate and support the efforts of the ambassador to further strengthen the exemplary relationship and cooperation of the two countries.
President Guelleh expressed his belief that the Ethiopian envoy would take the existing all rounded relationship of the two countries to a higher-level.
The President further affirmed his Government’s commitment to closely work in cooperation with the ambassador.
