Amb. Adem meets with president of Kazakhstan
Addis Ababa, October 7, 2023 (FBC) – Ethiopian Ambassador to Turkiye, Adem Mohammed, presented his credentials to the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, officially establishing himself as the non-resident Ambassador of Ethiopia to Kazakhstan.
While presenting his letter of credence, the ambassador conveyed a message and good wishes from the FDRE President Sahle-Work Zewde and Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) to President Tokayev.
During his meeting with the Kazakh leader, Ambassador Adem stated that he will work with the focus on strengthening trade, investment and tourism as well as people-to-people relations between Ethiopia and Kazakhstan.
He further pledged to work hard in fostering relations between the two countries into a comprehensive cooperation.
This assignment marks a significant milestone in fostering stronger diplomatic relations between the two nations, Ambassador Adem said via a social media post after his meeting with the Kazakh leader.
He expressed his appreciation to the government and people of Kazakhstan for the warm welcome and gracious hospitality extended to his delegation.
President Tokayev, on his part, stated that it is the desire of his government to further strengthen and develop the relationship between the two countries.
He expressed the full support and cooperation of his government for the efforts of the Ambassador Adam Mohammed, in that regard.
