Al Maulid Al Nabawi celebrated at Grand Mosque

Addis Ababa, October 18, 2021 (FBC) – Al Maulid Al Nabawi has been celebrated at the Grand Mosque in the capital, Addis Ababa.

Imam of the Grand Mosque, Haj Taha Harun called on the congregation to consider the life and teachings of Prophet Mohammed while celebrating Maulid.

The Imam further urged the Muslim Community to share food and drinks to the poor and visit the displaced and others in need during the festival.

President of the Ethiopian Islamic Affairs Supreme Council, Grand Mufti Haji Omar Idris, high government officials have attended the Al Maulid Al Nabawi celebration at the Grand Mosque.
