Agriculture Ministry provides 54 vehicles to war affected zones in Amhara Region

Addis Ababa, June 27, 2022 (FBC) – The Ministry of Agriculture has provided 54 field vehicles for war-torn zones in the Amhara Regional State particularly to support agricultural activities.

The vehicles have been distributed to 11 districts in North Wollo Zone, 20 districts in South Wollo Zone, 7 districts in Wag Hemra Zone, 6 districts in North Shewa Zone, 5 districts in Oromo Special Administrative Zone and other 5 districts in various areas of the region.

During the handover ceremony, Deputy Head of the Amhara Region Agriculture Bureau, Hailemariam Kefyalew noted that the vehicles would assist activities being carried out to increase product and productivity.
