Agreement reached to attract Nigerian investments to Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, September 1, 2023 (FBC) – Ethiopian Embassy in Abuja participated in the International Business Conference and Expo 2023 held in Lagos on Wednesday.

The Embassy briefed participants on the growing investment opportunities in Ethiopia and incentives put in place by the government to create enabling climate for foreign investors.

The Ethiopian Embassy in Abuja also invited Nigerian investors to tap the opportunities in Ethiopia. Ways on exploring market destinations for Ethiopian export commodities were also discussed during the bilateral meetings held during the Expo.

Finally, the Embassy and the Nigerian investors reached an agreement that would enable the latter to collaborate with counterparts in Ethiopia and tap the potentials in the country.
