AfCFTA Secretary General in Addis Ababa for official visit

Addis Ababa, August 29, 2024 (FBC) – Wamkele Mene, the Secretary General of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), has arrived in Addis Ababa for an official working visit.

Upon his arrival at Bole International Airport, Mene received a warm welcome from Yasmin Wohabrebi, the State Minister for the Ministry of Trade and Regional Integration.

During his visit, Mene is scheduled to engage with senior government officials to discuss Ethiopia’s role in the AfCFTA initiative.
