Afar Region inaugurates a rehab center for war affected communities

Addis Ababa, January 27, 2023 (FBC) – A rehab center to cater for a need by war affected communities in Afar Region has been inaugurated in Semera town attendance of high level officials.

Women and Social Affairs State Minister, Alemitu Oumed along with regional officials has attended the inauguration ceremony.

Alemitu said the center is instrumental to provide much needed rehabilitation services for conflict affected women and children in the region.

The State Minister further called on international partners to assist similar efforts underway to help relive the victims of the ripple effects of the war in northern parts of the country
