Additional 90 Ethiopians repatriated from Lebanon

Addis Ababa, September 1, 2020 (FBC) –A total of 90 Ethiopians, including 18 who were in Lebanon prison, have returned home.

Of the total, 71 returnees have self-financed their cost of return, according to the Ethiopian Consulate in Beirut.

The repatriation process of additional 155 migrants will begin as of today, said the consulate.

The government of Ethiopia repatriated 165 citizens from Lebanon last Sunday.

The repatriation process took place in a joint cooperation between the Ethiopian Consulate in Beirut, association of Ethiopian community and other humanitarian organizations.
