Addis Ababa sends second batch of medical professionals to military bases in Tigray

Addis Ababa, November 28, 2020 (FBC) – Addis Ababa City Administration has sent second batch of medical team comprising more than 60 health professionals to military bases where the national army is carrying out law enforcement operations against TPLF Junta forces.

Head of Addis Ababa Health Bureau, Dr. Yohannes Chala and other government officials have bid farewell to the medical team.

Members of the Medical team have expressed delight for participating in such a historic mission that aims to offer professional support to the National Defence force.

It is to be recalled that Addis Ababa dispatched a medical team comprising 48 health professionals drawn from several institutions in the capital to military posts in the northern Ethiopia on November 16, 2020.
