Addis Ababa residents contribute 58M Birr for Defence Army

Addis Ababa, November 22, 2020 (FBC) – Resident of Lideta Sub City of Addis Ababa have contributed financial and in kind support amounting 58 Million Birr to the National Defence Army.

Head of Addis Ababa Prosperity Party Office, Melese Alemu has handed over the support to the Defence Ministry State Minister, Martha Loji today.

On the handover ceremony, Melese said everybody is responsible to contribute support to the ongoing law enforcement operation underway in line with safeguarding sovereignty of the nation.

The attack which targeted the severity of the nation jeopardizes the wellbeing of the public particularly the people of Tigray, he said, expressing gratitude to the resident of Addis Ababa for contributing their share in maintain peace in the capital.

He further called up on the resident of the city to maintain their commitment in safeguarding peace and stepping up prosperity journey of the capital and the nation as well.
