Addis Ababa names a green legacy park after the Diaspora Community

Addis Ababa, January 4, 2022 (FBC) – Mayor of Addis Ababa, Adanech Abiebie said that the City Administration named one of the parks in the metropolis after the Ethiopian Ethiopian Diaspora Community to help Ethiopians and people of Ethiopian origin abroad leave their legacy in nation’s green development.

It is a responsibility of all Ethiopians to conserve the Green Legacy Initiative that has been initiated by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed under the theme “Let us adorn Ethiopia”

The park is beyond a site of green development; it is a memorial scene for the struggle of the Diaspora Community to fend off external pressure against the homeland, Ethiopia, the Mayor underlined.
