Addis Ababa, Kigali sign sister city partnership agreement

Addis Ababa, April 6, 2024 (FBC) – Addis Ababa and Kigali have signed a sister city partnership agreement today to build cooperation between the two capital cities.

The agreement was signed by Ms. Adanech Abiebie, the Mayor of Addis Ababa City Administration, and Dusemgyunwa Samuel, the Mayor of Kigali, the capital of Rwanda.

After signing the agreement, Mayor Adanech stated that the agreement was made to work together on urban development, waste disposal, youth and sports, eco-tourism, traffic management and development of verdant spaces.

She also said that they have agreed to work together on issues that will allow them to strengthen the relationships between their people.
