Addis Ababa city to build 100-km non-motorised transport routes

Addis Ababa, February 12, 2020 (FBC) –Addis Ababa city plans to build 100-km non-motorised transport (NMT) routes over the coming 10 years.

The Addis Ababa City Traffic Management Bureau today held discussion with stakeholders on the construction of the planned facility.

Participants indicated the economic and health benefits of NMT as well as its significance in smoothing traffic flow in cities like Addis Ababa.
