Addis Ababa City Administration recovers 560,233 m2 of illegally appropriated land
Addis Ababa, December 11, 2021 (FBC) – Addis Ababa City announced that it has restored 560,233 m2 illegally appropriated land in several parts of the capital.
Addis Ababa Communications Bureau indicated that the lands reclaimed from the illegal possession have been brought back to the land bank of the city.
According to Audit findings, out of the lands restored some were banned by the court and enclosed for years without any intended purposes.
Individuals who were banned by the court due to illegally possession of the lands have not even title deeds for their properties, according the information obtained from City’s Communication Bureau.
