Addis Ababa City Administration delivers 20mln ETB worth humanitarian aid to IDPs

Addis Ababa City Addis Ababa, October 30, 2021 (FBC) – Addis Ababa city Administration has delivered humanitarian support worth 20 Million Birr to internally displaced people who fled their homes in Wag Hemra Administration zone, and are currently sheltered in Bahir Dar city.

Deputy mayor of Addis Ababa Adanech Abiebie, representing the city government, handed over the donation to president of the Amhara regional state, Yilkal Kefale (PhD).

The humanitarian support includes food and non-food items including clothings to the people in need.

Deputy mayor Adanech called for concerted efforts to reinstate the displaced in a more sustainable manner, pledging commitment of the city administration in doing so.
