Addis Ababa, Chuncheon mark 20th Anniversary of sisterhood

Addis Ababa, October 31, 2023 (FBC) – Addis Ababa and Chuncheon City of the Republic of Korea have marked the 20th Anniversary of the establishment of thier sister city relationship.

Mayor of Addis Ababa, Adanech Abiebie and Mayor of Chuncheon, Yook Dong Han along with Korean youth diplomats have attended the 20th Anniversary marked with various events.

Being one of Addis Ababa’s 24 sister cities, Chuncheon city has an enhanced relationship with AddisAbaba for the past 20 years, it was stated on the anniversary.

“During this ceremony, we reaffirmed our dedication to deepening our relationship with Chuncheon city and preparing for future cooperation.   In addition to reviving and bolstering Addis Ababa’s international ties, our administration is working to display its completed mega projects and prepare itself to engage in massive projects in the future.” the Mayor of Addis Ababa, Adanech Abibie noted.
