Addis Ababa and Chongqing sign sister-city agreement

Addis Ababa, May 22, 2024 (FBC) – A delegation led by Dr. Jemalu Jenber Bekele, Deputy Mayor of Addis Ababa, visited Chongqing, China.

The Ethiopian Embassy in Beijing announced that during Deputy Mayor’s visit the signing of a sister-city agreement between Addis Ababa and Chongqing took place with a view to foster cooperation between the two cities in several areas.

“This partnership will enhance cooperation in trade, education, and cultural exchange, further solidifying the strong ties between Ethiopia and China,” the Embassy said.
