A ship carrying 550,000 soil fertilizer docks at Djibouti port– Corporation

Addis Ababa, December 13, 2024 (FMC) – The Ethiopian Agricultural Businesses Corporation (EABC) has announced that a ship carrying 550,000 quintals of DAP soil fertilizer for the 2024/25 cultivation season has arrived at the port of Djibouti.

In a post on its social media page, EABC reported that four more ships carrying a total of 2.4 million quintals of DAP will soon arrive at the port.

According to the Corporation, more than 1 million quintals of the soil fertilizer has already been unloaded at the port. Of this amount, 472,210 quintals of soil fertilizer have been transported into Ethiopia.

The arrival of the DAP soil fertilizer shipment is expected to support the growth of the agricultural sector in Ethiopia and boost the country’s production.
