A delegation of Kenyan tourism professionals, tour operators visiting Ethiopia
August 28, 2021 (FBC) – A delegation of Kenyan tourism professionals and tour operators are visiting Ethiopia in a bid to share experiences in the sector.
The visiting session organized by Tourism Ethiopia covers a wider area ranging from National Museum of Ethiopia, Addis Ababa to cultural and historical heritage sites of Harar.
While briefing the visiting delegation, Chief Executive Officer of Tourism Ethiopia, Seleshi Girma said like any parts of the world, Ethiopia’s tourism industry has been highly impacted by the Coronavirus pandemic expressing readiness to receive tourists as per precautions put in place to curb spread of the virus.
Voting program is aimed to promote not only Ethiopia’s heritage sites but also the destinations of the horn region, he said.
Members of the Kenyan delegation, to themselves, expressed commitment to promote tourism potentials of Ethiopia to their fellow citizens and the world at large.
