Ethiopia’s COVID19 cases exceed 60,000 mark

Addis Ababa, September 9, 2020 (FBC) –Ethiopia’s confirmed COVID19 cases have topped 60,000, with 1,136 cases added yesterday.

The new cases were recorded out of 14,815 laboratory tests conducted in 24 hours.The total number of confirmed cases now stands at 60,784.

The country also reported 16 deaths from the virus, bringing the death toll to 949.

Some 888 patients have recovered from the virus to take the total number of recoveries to 22,677.
The country has so far conducted 1,078, 269 laboratory tests.
