Ethiopia reports 469 new cases, 10 deaths in 24 hours

Addis Ababa, August 1, 2020 (FBC) –The Ministry of Health recorded 469 new cases of coronavirus (COVID19) out of the 7,358 laboratory tests conducted in the last 24 hours.

The total number of confirmed cases now stands at 17,999.

The Ministry also reported 10 COVID19-related deaths, taking the total death toll from the virus to 284.

Some 245 patients have also recovered from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 7,195.

There are now 10,518 active cases of which 68 are in a severe condition.

Ethiopia has so far conducted 429, 712 laboratory tests.
