Millennium Hall facility discharges 87 COVID-19 recoveries

Addis Ababa, June 16, 2020 (FBC) – A coronavirus treatment facility set up inside the Addis Ababa Millennium Hall today discharged 87 patients who have recovered from COVID-19.

According to Dr Wuletaw Chane, director at the facility, there are now 656 COVID-19 patients receiving treatment in the centre.

With beds for 1,040 coronavirus patients, out of which 40 are ICU beds, the Millennium Hall treatment facility began accepting patients two weeks ago.

Ethiopia has so far reported 3,521 confirmed cases, 60 deaths and 620 recoveries.
