Premier discusses with political parties from SNNP Region

Addis Ababa, June 11, 2020 (FBC) – Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed has discussed with political parties from Southern Nations Nationalities and Peoples Regional State on the organizing principles in the region.

Such a discussion is vital to foster values of democracy there by transform the country to a better futurity, the Prime Minister said.

“I am pleased with the ideas that have emerged and the spirit of open dialogue during our meeting today with political parties from the Southern region where we discussed the organizing principle in the region,” Dr. Abiy noted.

The discussion held with political parties of the region balances the various needs of the people, according to the Prime Minister.

The premier added “Such continued discussions are enriching and add value to the democratic culture.”
