Prosperity Party’s VP Adem Farah confers with Rwandan Ambassador Charles Karamba

Addis Ababa, January 22, 2025 (FMC) – Adem Farah, Vice President of the Prosperity Party and Deputy Prime Minister overseeing the Democratic System Building Center, met with Charles Karamba, Rwanda’s Ambassador to Ethiopia, for discussions on enhancing government and party relations between their countries.

The talks underscored Ethiopia’s progress in vital areas such as corridor development, the Green Development Initiative, the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam, and food security. Adem emphasized the Prosperity Party’s commitment to implementing the initiatives outlined at its first regular conference. He noted ongoing successes across various sectors and hinted at forthcoming decisions aimed at sustaining these achievements, as outlined during the party’s second regular conference.

Additionally, the meeting included presentations on Ethiopia’s development efforts, future goals, and visions. The Rwandan Ambassador expressed appreciation for the invitation to the upcoming second regular conference and announced that a delegation from Rwanda’s ruling party, the Rwanda Patriotic Front (RPF), would be attending. The discussions concluded with plans for further bilateral talks to strengthen cooperation between Ethiopia and Rwanda.
