Ethiopia, Uganda Agree to Strengthen Defense Industry Cooperation

Addis Ababa, December 14, 2024 (FMC) — Ethiopia and Uganda have agreed to enhance cooperation in the defense industry, including information exchange and joint training initiatives.

Chief of Staff of the Ethiopian Defense Forces (ENDF), Field Marshal Berhanu Jula and Commander of the Ugandan People’s Defense Forces, General Muhoozi Kainerugaba held discussion today.

Both sides explored ways to further strengthen defense sector cooperation between their countries.

General Kainerugaba expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and reaffirmed Uganda’s commitment to deepening its collaboration with Ethiopia in the defense field.
