PM Abiy appoints Mohamed Idris as Minister of Peace

Addis Ababa, November 29, 2024 (FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) has officially appointed Mohamed Idris as the new Minister of Peace.

The Prime Minister’s Office made the announcement today, indicating that Mohamed Idris will assume his new role in the Ministry of Peace starting November 27, 2024.

Mohamed Idris was serving as the Director General of the Ethiopian Media Authority (EMA) since 5 April, 2021.
