Russian President Vladimir Putin to visit India soon, the Kremlin says

Addis Ababa, November 19, 2024 (FBC) – Russia’s President Vladimir Putin is set to visit India, the Kremlin’s press secretary Dmitry Pesko announced on Tuesday.

“Russian President Vladimir Putin to visit India soon. We are working on the dates,” Dmitry Peskov was quoted as saying.

This will be Putin’s first visit to India since the Russia-Ukraine conflict broke out in 2022.

The last time Russian President Vladimir Putin visited India was on December 6, 2021. He traveled to New Delhi for the 21st India-Russia Annual Summit with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

During this visit, the two leaders had discussed a wide range of issues, including bilateral cooperation in defense, trade, energy, and regional security.

Earlier this year, Modi paid a visit to Russia and met with Putin.
