Photo exhibition showcasing interfaith respect, harmony in Ethiopia opens in Addis Ababa
Addis Ababa, November 4, 2024 (FBC) – A photographic exhibition, highlighting the history of interfaith respect, harmony, and solidarity in Ethiopia, has officially opened in Addis Ababa today.
This event is taking place alongside the ongoing International Inter-religious Conference.
The interfaith conference is being organized by Ethiopia’s Ministry of Peace in collaboration with the Mohammed Bin Zayed University for Humanity of the United Arab Emirates.
On the sidelines of this international event, a photo exhibition has been curated to highlight and remind the world of Ethiopia’s enduring legacy of interfaith respect and solidarity.
According to information provided by the Ministry of Peace, the exhibition was inaugurated by the FDRE President, Ambassador Taye Atske-Selassie, the Minister of Peace, Mr. Bnalf Andualem, and religious leaders.
Prominent religious figures, members of the Inter-Religious Council of Ethiopia, heads of regional peace and security bureaus across the country, representatives from Ethiopian universities, as well as religious delegates from East African nations, Russia, Morocco, and South Africa, along with international organizations and other esteemed guests, are participating in the conference.
