Commission to begin agenda gathering process in Southwest Ethiopia tomorrow
Addis Ababa, November 2, 2024 (FBC) – The Ethiopian National Dialogue Commission (NDC) has announced that it will start its agenda gathering program in the Southwest Ethiopia People’s Region tomorrow.
It is said that more than 2,200 different sections of the society will participate in the agenda gathering and deliberation event, which will be held from 3-9 November 2024.
In that regard, the community representatives identified by the Commission from 57 woredas and city administrations in the region, representatives of the national and regional political parties, representatives from the three organs of the federal government, various institutions, academics, and influential individuals in the region are expected to participate in the process.
Accordingly, the Commission called on residents of the region to contribute to the success of the consultation and agenda gathering process, as well as the process of selecting representatives who will participate in the national consultation.
The Commission further indicated that training for agenda gathering coordinators will be provided in Amhara region next week.
