African defense ministers and military attachés tour Defense Engineering Industry Corporation

Addis Ababa, October 16, 2024 (FBC) – A delegation of defense ministers and military attachés from various African nations visited the Defense Engineering Industry Corporation, inspecting various factories and receiving briefings on the corporation’s operations.

The ministers hailed the industry’s achievements in repairing, enhancing, and manufacturing armored combat vehicles, expressing pride in Ethiopia’s progress.

The visit included Defense Minister Engineer Aisha Mohammed and senior military officials, who highlighted Ethiopia’s leadership in sharing defense experiences with African counterparts.

The dignitaries also marked their visit by planting saplings at the corporation in places assigned for each country, symbolizing their commitment to collaboration with Ethiopia.
