Chinese President Xi Jinping congratulates President Taye Atske-Selassie

Addis Ababa, October 12, 2024 (FBC) – President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping has congratulated Ambassador Taye Atske-Selassie on taking office as President of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.

In 2023, Ethiopia and China announced the elevation of their existing bilateral ties to an “All Weather Strategic Cooperation Partnership.
