President of Oromia Region praises values of forgiveness, love and peace inherited from Irrecha

Addis Ababa, October 6, 2024 (FBC) – The President of the Oromia Region, Shimelis Abdisa, has hailed the successful completion of the Hora Finfine and Hora Harsede Irecha celebrations as a testament to the greatness of the Oromo people.

The President expressed gratitude towards attendees for their commitment to peace, unity, and the preservation of traditional values.

The President emphasized the festival’s significance in showcasing the rich culture of the Oromo, stating, “Our success yesterday and today at the Hora Finfine and Hora Harsede Irecha celebrations proved that we are united.” He appreciated the participants for maintaining the spirit of unity, peace and togetherness during the festival.
