Federal Police says Irreechaa Hora Finfinnee celebration concluded peacefully

Addis Ababa, October 5, 2024 (FBC) – The Ethiopian Federal Police Commission has announced that the Irreechaa Hora Finfinne festival was celebrated with great enthusiasm and concluded peacefully.

In its statement regarding the successful conclusion of today’s event, the police reported that this year’s Irreechaa Hora Finfinne festival, which was attended by thousands of people including Abbaa Gadaas, Hadha Sinqees, guests from various parts of Ethiopia, neighboring countries, and tourists from foreign countries, was celebrated and concluded with great pomp.

The police stated that relevant security institutions, in collaboration with all stakeholders, worked closely to ensure the successful celebration of the event.

Police expressed its gratitude to Abbaa Gadaas, Hadha Siinqees, festival attendees, residents of Addis Ababa, the festival’s organizing committee, and the volunteering youth, as well as the security forces that diligently carried out their duties.

The Federal Police has also called on the community to continue its cooperation with the security forces to ensure that the Irreechaa Hora Harsade festival, which will be held tomorrow in Bishoftu town of the Oromia region, is conducted peacefully and successfully.
