President Sahle-Work says farewell to Namibian Ambassador and AfDB Representative in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, August 28, 2024 (FBC) – President Sahle-Work Zewde held farewell meetings with Namibia’s Ambassador, Emilia Ndinelao Mkusa, and Abdul Kamara, the Country Representative and Deputy Director General of the African Development Bank (AfDB) in Ethiopia.

During her discussion with Ambassador Mkusa, the President expressed her appreciation for the Ambassador’s efforts in strengthening the bilateral ties between Namibia and Ethiopia throughout her five-and-a-half-year tenure.

Similarly, President Sahle-Work bid goodbye to Abdul Kamara, acknowledging the meaningful contributions of the AfDB under his leadership during his seven years of service in Ethiopia. She thanked him for the bank’s substantial support in advancing the country’s development initiatives.
