Ethiopian says taking necessary actions to mitigate disruption of incoming flights due to foggy weather
Addis Ababa, August 22, 2024 (FBC) – In the face of extremely foggy weather, Ethiopian Airlines has announced that it is diligently taking all the necessary actions to mitigate disruption of incoming flights.
An official statement from the airline stated that due to extremely foggy weather at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport today, August 22, 2024, starting at around 3:00am, most of Ethiopian Airlines’ incoming flights could not land at Bole Airport, and have been forced to divert to their respective alternate airports.
“We would like to inform our valued customers that due to extremely foggy weather at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport today, August 22, 2024, starting at around 3:00am, most of Ethiopian Airlines’ incoming flights could not land at Bole Airport, and have been forced to divert to their respective alternate airports,” the Airline disclosed.
This has also affected both the domestic and international morning departing flights, the airline disclosed. “We are taking all the necessary actions to mitigate the disruptions on the travel plans of our passengers.
