PM Abiy welcomes Foreign Minister of Türkiye Hakan Fidan

Addis Ababa, August 3, 2024 (FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed received and held talks with the Foreign Minister of Türkiye, Hakan Fidan, this morning.

Prime Minister Abiy said in a post on his social media page that his discussion with the Turkish foreign minister focused on “continued bilateral ties” between Ethiopia and Türkiye.

Note that Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan arrived in Addis Ababa this morning for a working visit to Ethiopia. He is also expected to hold talks with his Ethiopian counterpart Ambassador Taye Atske-Sellasie today.
