Defense officials of Ethiopia, South Sudan discuss bilateral and regional issues of mutual concern

Addis Ababa, July 28, 2024 (FBC) – Senior defense officials from the Federal Democratic republic of Ethiopia and the Republic of South Sudan have convened in Addis Ababa to discuss issues of mutual interest and concern.

The meeting, according to the Ethiopian National Defense Forces (ENDF) social media department, aimed to address various bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest.

During the discussion, both delegates focused on ways to safeguard their shared security interests. The meeting marked an important step in fostering cooperation and understanding between the two countries, as they work together to address common challenges and promote peace and stability in the region.
